About

Applied AI, aviation, and hands-on engineering

I’m an applied AI researcher with a background in aviation engineering, currently working as a Research Associate at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) in the Cybernetic Learning Systems Research Unit.

My research focuses on reinforcement learning and decision intelligence systems that support human decision-makers in complex, safety-critical environments — bridging research, engineering, and real-world deployment.

Beyond research, I build, fly, and program FPV drones. This hands-on experience shapes how I approach AI systems: as engineered solutions that must operate reliably under real-world constraints.

I also work in videography and storytelling (editing, color grading, and production). Clear communication is part of the job — whether through writing, visualization, or collaborative project work.
